About US:

We at AG Medical Training Center provide specific training in the basics of First Aid & CPR/AED so as to enable employees, clients, and customers to function in a healthy and secure atmosphere wherein emergency situations can be curtailed and/or handled with ease. We are cleared to teach the newly approved Boy Scout’s Wilderness First Aid course as well.

We provide training and skills for all civilians, medical professionals, and Mariners in the following courses: CPR/AED First Aid, Medical Care Provider, Medical Care Provider In-Charge. The training for mariners allows them to handle any type situation in both domestic and international waters in accordance with the Standard for Training Certification, and Watchkeeping. This is implemented by the U.S. Coast Guard in order to ensure that US Merchant Mariners have the skills & abilities to serve aboard seagoing vessels. This is in compliance with STCW.

Our instructors are approved and certified by the following organizations: American Heart Association (AHA), Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI), American Safety Health Institute (ASHI), OSHA and the United States Coast Guard at the National Maritime Center. As you may be aware, many states and agencies, including OSHA are mandating that all organizations are required to have basically trained personnel to act as interim first responders until EMTs, Paramedics and other professionals can arrive on the scene. Legislation in May 2001 mandated that all public schools in New York State be equipped with AEDs in their buildings including all sport venues. The “Louis’ Law.” requires teachers and coaches to be certified in CPR/AED (automatic external defibrillators).

In recent years, an increasing number of private companies have added AED’s (automated external defibrillators) in office buildings, shopping malls, health clubs and even on commercial airliners. This use of this equipment must be by certified people who must have other supportive training covering basic First Aid and CPR.

To assist you in meeting regulatory demands and also for you to provide a safe environment for your associates, employees and customers, we at AG Medical Training Center would like to help you formalize a training program.

We would bring our instructors and equipment to you and if you do have some current certifications, we can provide the renewal training.
